OGDEN, Utah -- Weber State University Continuing Education will present the third Northern Utah Nonprofits Conference on Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the McKay-Dee Hospital Education Center (4401 Harrison Blvd., Ogden).

The conference is presented in conjunction with Ogden City Enterprise Community Initiative, United Way of Northern Utah, and Utah Nonprofit Association. The event is designed to help maximize an organization’s potential through effective volunteer coordination. Those who attend will gain insights from volunteer managers and exchange ideas with colleagues working in the nonprofit field.

Workshop topics include recruiting and retaining board and committee members, recruiting volunteers, screening and placement strategies, retaining and rewarding volunteers, teambuilding and a volunteer troubleshooting panel.
