Haskins portrayed Principal Richard Belding at the fictional Bayside High School. A generation of Saturday morning TV viewers grew up being entertained by Mr. Belding’s power struggles with Zack Morris, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar. In addition to sharing his experiences interacting with his young co-stars, Haskins’ presentation will include a brief video, “Saved by the Bell” trivia and a question and answer period with the audience. “Saved by the Bell” ran from 1989-1993 on NBC.
The event, part of WSU’s Convocation Lecture Series, is free to the public.
