Concurrent Enrollment Accredited by NACEP
November 8, 2006

OGDEN, Utah – Weber State University Continuing Education’s Concurrent Enrollment Program has received accredited status from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

The NACEP is a professional organization associated with American colleges and universities that offer college courses taught in partnering high schools. The NACEP provides ongoing professional development for concurrent enrollment program administrators and instructors.

WSU’s Concurrent Enrollment Program serves more than 4,700 high school students who earn approximately 25,000 WSU credit hours. More than 200 high school teachers represent 35 school partners. The Utah legislature appropriates money to support concurrent enrollment for Utah’s students.

Accreditation status acknowledges that the program meets national quality standards.
