Domestic Abuse Survivor to Share Lessons She’s Learned
Oct 17, 2005
OGDEN, Utah -- A woman who was kidnapped and assaulted by her estranged husband will share her experiences as a survivor of an abusive relationship, Oct. 18 at noon in the Shepherd Union Wildcat Theater.

“Becky” will tell her powerful story of ignoring the signs of violence and suffering the brutal consequences.  Learn the facts, myths and warning signs of domestic violence as she carefully interweaves her story with information that every person should know. The event is free to the public.

In connection with National Domestic Violence Month, Weber State University’s Services for Women Students is promoting a series of events throughout October aimed at educating and informing the community about the dangers of domestic violence.
