Respiratory therapy students at Weber State University will hold the Ventilator 5K Fun Run on Oct. 27 to raise funds for the American Respiratory Care Foundation.

The race, which will include teams of participants pushing a ventilator to raise money through pledges for local respiratory-related research, is part of a national series of similar races taking place throughout the country this year. Individual runners can also participate.

Registration for the race, which will start at 10 a.m. at the Ogden River Parkway, is $15 in advance or $20 that day. To register or pledge money, call 801-626-7141.
