Nursing Course to Hold Mock Disaster
October 5, 2007

A Weber State University nursing course will host a mock disaster on Oct. 13 at Mt. Ogden Middle School (3260 Harrison Blvd., Ogden).

The course, which is offered to nursing students in the bachelor’s degree program, is designed to give students a glimpse of nursing response during times of threats and crises. The event will include individuals acting as victims, as well as assistance from students in the paramedic program and WSU’s Army ROTC. The “victims” will receive wound preparation in advance of the mock disaster, which will begin at 1 p.m.

For more information or to act as a victim for the event, call London Draper, assistant nursing professor, at 801-626-7892.
