The Utah chapter of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators recently awarded Weber State University’s Lessons in Leadership & Civic Responsibility Seminar its annual award for most innovative program.

The eight-week leadership seminar was created to encourage increased involvement in leadership opportunities at Weber State University for underrepresented student populations.

Utah NASPA presented the program’s committee with the award at the organization’s 2007 conference, which was held on Sept. 29 at Salt Lake Community College.
