Single Parents Conference Coming to WSU

OGDEN, Utah - “Survive and Thrive,” a workshop for single parents, will be held Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Ballrooms.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Master the Juggling Act of Parenting Alone.”

Workshops include child safety, parenting, educational resources, motivation, stress management and financial resources.

The conference, sponsored by the WSU Women’s Center, is open to the public.

Registration is $15 for WSU students and $20 for non-students, and includes lunch. For registration and more information, visit weber.edu/womenscenter.
