October 1, 2009

Avoid becoming a victim of identity theft.

Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff will present a seminar on the dangers of identity theft and offer insights into ways to avoid becoming a victim.

The free presentation will be held Oct. 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Shepherd Union Room 404.

In addition to learning more about the latest tools the state is using to report and pursue identity theft cases, a free shredding service will be available to the public on campus from 4 to 7 p.m. The truck will be located on the west side of the Shepherd Union Building near the loading dock.
