Women’s Center Hosting Battle of the Bands to End Domestic Violence

WSU’s Women’s Center will host a Battle of the Bands to End Domestic Violence, 7 p.m., Oct. 9 in the Shepherd Union Ballroom. Local bands will compete for prizes and help raise funds for a worthy cause.

The entry fee for participating bands is $20, and $5 will be charged at the door. All proceeds raised will go to the Your Community Connection (YCC) to help victims of domestic violence. The deadline for bands to register is Oct. 2. The event is open to the public.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
