'Titanic,' 'Matrix' Visual Effects Producer Speaks at WSU

Sinking ships and dodging bullets are part of everyday life for Camille Cellucci.

The visual effects producer for Sony Pictures Imageworks, who has worked on numerous movies including "The Matrix" sequels, "Titanic" and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," will speak at Weber State University Sept. 21 at noon in the Shepherd Union Ballroom. Prior to Sony, Cellucci worked at Industrial Light and Magic, as well as Digital Domain.

In her presentation, "Making Movie Magic, An Inside Look at Visual Effects," she will share some of the secrets of creating memorable visual effects sequences. Cellucci will also talk about her experiences and challenges in creating a successful career while pursuing her dream job.

The presentation, which is part of WSU's Convocations Lecture Series, is free to the public.
