WSU Ready to Paint the Town Purple Again
OGDEN, Utah – Building on the success of last season's inaugural campaign, Weber State University is preparing to partner with local businesses to paint the town purple.

Kyle Poll, student body president at WSU, said local businesses have expressed great interest in joining the Paint the Town Purple Club. The club, which started last year, works with local businesses in the Ogden area to help promote and support WSU athletics.

Club members promote Wildcat athletics four ways: having employees wear WSU Paint the Town Purple shirts prior to home game weekends, using WSU coasters in their establishments, displaying WSU messages on marquees and offering discounts to WSU students carrying the Paint the Town Purple card—a new student discount card started this year.

"This campaign created a lot of excitement about our teams last year and judging by the number of new and returning businesses this season, I think it's going to be even bigger this year," said Poll.

Businesses interested in helping paint the town purple can contact Poll at 626-6888.
