OGDEN, Utah -  Amy Petersen, who graduated in May from Weber State University with a master's degree in business administration, received the Outstanding Civilian in Contracting award from U.S. Air Force Material Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base recently.

Petersen was the only award-winner in the category of Logistics. She worked as a contract negotiator in the Aircraft Sustainment Wing at Hill Air Force Base when she won the award. Since then she has received a promotion and works as a contract analyst.
