OGDEN, Utah – Utah Musical Theatre will honor the men and women of Hill Air Force Base by sponsoring Hill Air Force Base Night on July 3. Base personnel will be able to purchase tickets to that evening's performance of UMT's Honk! at a reduced rate.
"We wanted to honor the members of the Hill Air Force Base community by offering them an opportunity to bring their families to a show for all ages," said Bruce Cohen, UMT's artistic and managing director.
Honk! is a modern-day, musical adaptation of the story of the ugly duckling. The cast includes Paul Cheney, a military reservist from the 321st Engineer Battalion, who is appearing in all three UMT productions this summer.
Hill AFB military personnel, civilian employees and their families may purchase $5 tickets for the July 3 performance by presenting appropriate ID at the WSU Ticket office or at the box office the night of the show. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Peery's Egyptian Theater (2415 Washington Blvd.) in Ogden.
