OGDEN, Utah - For three days in June, high school students serious about pursing professions in the health field will have that opportunity first hand at Weber State University thanks to the Northern Utah Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
AHEC will hold the camp for students entering grades 9-12 June 21-23. Participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops in the fields of nursing, radiology, psychology, respiratory therapy, chemistry and paramedics. The camp will also include fieldtrips to local hospitals and recreational activities.
The camp costs $60, which includes meals, accommodations and all fees. The deadline to register is June 4.
