WSU and Ogden-Weber Chamber Create New Business Symposium

OGDEN, Utah – To enhance innovation, increase professional development opportunities and spur economic growth in northern Utah, Weber State University’s John B. Goddard School of Business & Economics and the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce have partnered to produce the new Northern Utah Business Symposium.

The kickoff event, a half-day seminar centered around the theme “The Marketing Game Has Changed. What’s Your Next Move?” will be held May 20 in the George S. Eccles Lecture Hall in Elizabeth Hall on WSU’s Ogden campus.

The symposium includes breakfast and networking from 7-8 a.m., followed by six interactive presentations from local marketing experts. Each 30-minute session will include time for questions.

“Northern Utah has an abundance of talented professionals who are experts in every essential area of business,” said Jeff Steagall, dean of WSU’s Goddard School of Business & Economics. “We are pleased to partner with the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce to lead the effort to gather experts together to share and strengthen our area's business community.”
