Out-of-this-World Experience Slated at WSU Davis

OGDEN, Utah – Faculty  from the Weber State University College of Science will present research similarities between Mars and the Great Salt Lake and other scientific topics at 7 p.m. May 12 at WSU Davis (2750 North University Park Blvd. in Layton).

John Armstrong, research professor, will discuss recent Mars discoveries and how the past environment and possible habitats of Mars are related to the Great Salt Lake. Assistant physics professor Stacy Palen will talk about finding planets outside our galaxy, and associate zoology professor John Cavitt will explain a national study on the ecosystem of the Great Salt Lake.

The event is free to the public.
