Ogden Gang Injunction Proponent to Speak

March 30, 2011

OGDEN, Utah – Branden Miles, a Deputy Weber County Attorney, will discuss the Ogden gang injunction April 7 at 12:30 p.m. in Weber State University’s Elizabeth Hall, Room 229.

Miles played an integral part in passing the injunction, which was issued in 2010.

The injunction against the Ogden Trece gang limits the amount of contact members can have with one another, imposes a curfew on members, as well as other restrictions.

Earlier this spring, WSU hosted representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union who oppose the injunction.

This lecture is free and open to the public and is sponsored by WSU’s American Democracy Project and Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society.
