Panel to Discuss ‘Autism: Coming of Age’

Weber State University has partnered with the Utah Education Network and Autism Council of Utah to host “Autism: Coming of Age” March 27 at 6 p.m. at Marriott Allied Health, Room 101.

A brief documentary will be shown to raise awareness about the challenges individuals with autism and their families face. Following the documentary, an expert panel of parents, physicians, counselors and advocates will share their experiences with coming-of-age decisions they have had to make. Topics of discussion will include guardianship, independent living, housing needs, education and community life.
