WSU to Host Cardboard Campus Campout

OGDEN, Utah – In an effort to raise awareness about homelessness in Utah, Weber State University’s Community Involvement Center will host a “Cardboard Campout for the Homeless” March 23 at the Stewart Bell Tower Plaza.

The event will immerse faculty, staff and students in the world of a homeless person. Activities will be held from 7 to 10 p.m., with some participants staying overnight.

The campout will conclude a weeklong series of activities, including soup lines and guest speakers from local organizations that assist the homeless.
