Award-Winning Utah Filmmaker Presenting at WSU

Weber State University student Issac Goeckeritz, an award-winning filmmaker, will present “Making Documentary Films” on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Lindquist Alumni Center. 

Goeckeritz will talk about his craft and screen portions of his documentaries during his presentation. 

His films “Ogden: Junction City of the West” and “Uintah United” earned Utah Best of State honors in 2008 and 2009 respectively. 

Goeckeritz is composing a documentary about Richard Richards, former chairman of the Republican National Committee. 

This presentation, sponsored by WSU’s Department of History, the Weber Historical Society and Weber State University Alumni Association, is free to the public.
