The LEAP Program at Weber State University is an intensive English language program. We teach students who speak English as a second language the language skills they need for success in university classes and the professional world.
We welcome international students, permanent residents and US citizens who wish to study English as a second language. We believe that a second language can best be learned by actual use in meaningful situations in the country where the language is spoken. In the LEAP Program, students learn to use spoken and written English easily and effectively and become familiar with American university culture.
Students in our program may progress to regular academic courses in two semesters.
