Outstanding Faculty

 

Presidential Distinguished Professor of History Dr. Susan Matt received the 2022 H. Aldous Dixon Award for faculty who have "demonstrated careers of excellence and have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support students." She is also the Director of Interdisciplinary Collaborations. 

 

Professor Matt Romaniello received a 2022 Franklin Research Grant from the American Philosophical Society to conduct research in the United Kingdom for his new book, Unplanned Obsolescence: Modernity and the Loss of the Natural World, a study of sustainable materials before the industrial era. Congratulations!
