Spencer Hilton started teaching in the Computer Science department at WSU in 2005 as an adjunct professor, and was hired to a full-time faculty position in 2008.
Before coming to work full-time for Weber State, Spencer worked for the MarketStar Corporation (Ogden, Utah) as a Data Specialist and Business Intelligence Analyst, running analyses on large amounts of data in order to increase client sales, and building automated reports using Microsoft SQL Server & Reporting Services. Previous to MarketStar, he was employed for over 7 years as a software engineer by a small software company, working on a variety of projects.
Spencer loves teaching, and works hard to constantly refine and improve his classes in order for more effective learning to take place. He loves interacting with students and working with technology.
Spencer currently resides in Syracuse, UT, with his wife and two children.

Degrees: Master of Business Administration, Weber State University (2007); BS in Computer Science, Weber State University (2011); BA in Communication, Weber State University (2004). AAS in Computer Science, Weber State University (2011).
Current Fields of Study: Software Engineering, Project Management, and Mobile Web.
Biggest Accomplishment in CS: Passing the quizzes in Rob Hilton’s 2650 class.
