First and foremost, you should feel comfortable contacting the Admissions Office or the Financial Aid Office (801-626-7569) with any questions you may have. In the meantime, there are lots of Web-based resources for students planning a college career. Here are just a few of them:
The College Board, which is the group that offers the SAT and AP tests, offers lots of advice, from planning for college to paying for college.
FAFSA is the government site that offers the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid.” The site offers a step-by-step guide to filling out the application.
FastWEB is a huge online data base of available scholarships.
The Financial Aid Information Page, also known as FinAid, gives a full explanation of how college financial aid works.
Students.gov is a federal site that offers lots of planning tools, including a “cost calculator.”
The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority offers interesting benefits to borrowers—and some good information, too.
